I have really never succeeded at putting watercolor on a face. This is better than I've ever done, but I did get too much paint on the face and tried to lighten it up with white watercolor. It's something I need to practice doing because I really would like to be able to draw and paint more people.

You got the flesh color really well. Like the shadows and highlights. Very delicate and soft. Pleasing to look at.
BTW ~ A new Art Challenge is up...a variety of animals and a beautiful Blue Jay from Abe's collection.

Nice job on her. You got the skin tone so smooth. I find it so cute, the way she holds her mouth because a model does.
